Interact enters Rotary International's Annual Interact Video, Essay, and Photo Contest

Congratulations Interactors and F@ME for highlighting your great work
through the Rotary International Video Contest.

The Rotary Club of Memphis Central's (RCMC) Interact Club at Manassas High School along with Shelby County Schools, Black Lens Production, and Payne Productions are leading the charge to integrate a multi-media club under Interact at Manassas High School.  The goal: to expose Interactors to the endless career opportunities in multi-media production while unlocking student leadership potential and skills.  For the first time, Interactors are receiving classroom theory and hands-on training. leading production efforts in front-of and behind the camera.  Just before the pandemic and closure of schools in mid-March 2020, Interact (F@ME) wrote and produced two PSA(s).  One of them is included in this video below.

Since June 2020, Interactors continue to meet via Zoom.  While site production is limited, Interactors are assigned leadership roles as project managers for pending PSA(s), working on storyboards and scripts.  Pending projects include a video on the 120-year history of Manassas High School and two PSA(s) on bullying in a collaboration with the Brian Callies Saving Lost Kids Foundation.

Thanks to the Rotary Club of Memphis Central, our mentors  along with our parents for their continued support of our program.  Kudos to Interactors Tamayra Moore, Adrianna Williams, Eric Cole, and Edwin Cole for pulling this video together! A very, very special thanks to Mr. John Payne, CEO of Payne Productions, for his consistent leadership, guidance, and direction  in training and preparing Interactors for the dynamic multimedia industry.  We love you and look forward to things to come!!  It's only just begun!!
