She has also had the privilege of sharing her life story of beauty from ashes, in reference to Isaiah 61:3, across the United States, Africa and Mexico, with the goal of empowering young ladies to know their identity and develop confidence. Alexia wrote her first book, Transformation of the Heart: When God Makes Beauty out of Ashes, an autobiographical and self-help book designed to bring hope to the broken. Born with a birth defect and a child of divorced parents, Alexia wants to share her powerful journey of confronting insecurities and recognizing the beauty God bestowed upon her from birth.
