Kimberly Morgan-West is a servant leader who believes in giving her time and efforts to the community to combat systemic disparities.
Kimberly is a native of Saginaw, Michigan. She received her BA in Mass Communications/Public Administration from Xavier University of Louisiana, and later earned her MS in Health and Sport Studies from The University of Memphis; where she currently serves as an adjunct instructor. Kimberly currently works for the RISE Foundation where she serves as the Senior Program Coordinator for the Goal Card program.
Kimberly’s work throughout her career has focused on youth development and providing programming and opportunities for underserved youth. Throughout her run, Kimberly has been able to assist in the postsecondary placement of over 500 students within the Memphis community, and served on many youth committees including Youth United Way and TN Achieves. Kimberly is passionate about the success of youth and the minority community and believes that all people should be afforded the opportunity to succeed regardless of their circumstances.
